This is a self formation exercise to learn new techniques and develop a visual style from rules.
Fictional context: From Software is asking for a series of illustration for a Bloodborne like game set in French-Canadian folklore.
The rules:
- Render 2-3 materials per illustration ex: fur, bones, metal
- Use Photobashing
- Other elements are either in silhouette or slightly rendered

Saint-Cuthbert du Lac (Saint-Cuthbert by the Lake) takes place a few years after the Lower Canada Rebellion of 1837-1838 in a region inspired by the Lac Saint-Jean. After travelling through the forest for countless days, ''Le Survenant'', a mysterious and lonesome wanderer comes upon the town teeming with possessed villagers and other horrible creatures.
